A Fresh Start for a Young German Shepherd in Kingman

A young German Shepherd here in Kingman needed somewhere safe to go, and I could not just ignore it.
I saw the post, learned that she needed help, and knew I had to step in. So for now, I will be fostering her until we can find her a safe, loving forever home.

She has already been through a lot, and like many dogs who end up in uncertain situations, she deserves a chance to feel safe, cared for, and wanted. Sometimes all a dog needs is someone willing to step up long enough to help them get to the next chapter of their life.
Right now, she could definitely use a bath and some grooming. I do not have the “after” photos yet because that part has not happened. This is the beginning of her story — the part where she is finally safe and we start working toward her fresh start.

That is where I would love the Kingman pet community’s help.
If there is a local groomer in Kingman who would be willing to donate a grooming session for her, I would be happy to highlight your kindness and support your local business in the process. This would not just help this girl feel better — it would also show what our local pet community can do when people come together for an animal in need.
I know everyone is busy, and I know local businesses already do a lot. But sometimes one donated service can make a real difference. A bath, a brush-out, clean ears, trimmed nails, and a little care could help her take that first step toward a new life.

My goal is simple: help her feel safe, help her get cleaned up, and help her find the right forever home.
If you are a groomer who would like to help, please reach out. If you know a groomer who may be willing to donate a session, please tag them or send this to them.
And if you or someone you know is looking for a wonderful German Shepherd, please send me a message. She will need the right home — someone patient, responsible, and ready to give her the love, structure, and stability she deserves.
This is exactly why I believe local pet communities matter. Not every situation can be fixed by one person, but when people come together, we can create better outcomes for dogs like her.
For now, she is safe.
Now let’s help her get the fresh start and forever home she deserves.
