Introduction
KasPaws ("KasPaws," "we," "us," or "our") provides an online platform that connects pet owners with pet sitters and related service providers (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the KasPaws website, mobile application, or related services (together, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
- When registering for an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your name, phone number, and email address.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
Use of the Platform
- You agree to use the Platform in a lawful, respectful manner that does not harm other users, pets, or the Platform itself.
- You may not engage in fraud, misrepresentation, harassment, or any illegal activity.
- KasPaws may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, suspected misuse, safety concerns, fraud, or other operational reasons.
- All bookings, communications, pet profiles, sitter profiles, alerts, and other platform interactions must be truthful and not misleading.
Bookings, Payments, and Fees
- KasPaws facilitates bookings between pet owners and sitters; KasPaws does not provide pet care services itself.
- Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). KasPaws does not store full payment card numbers.
- Fees, cancellation terms, and payout schedules are presented during the booking process and may be updated from time to time.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms and Conditions
Program Name. KasPaws Transactional Alerts
By providing your phone number during account registration or at any point while using the KasPaws platform, you consent to receive transactional SMS/text messages from KasPaws. These messages are strictly service-related and include account verification codes, booking confirmations and updates, communication notifications, pet alert notifications, and sitter invitation messages. KasPaws does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive multiple messages per week.
Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
Opt-Out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any KasPaws SMS message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Opting out may limit certain features that require phone-based verification.
Help. For assistance, reply HELP to any KasPaws SMS message or contact us at support@kaspaws.com.
Consent. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or use of the KasPaws platform.
Privacy. Your phone number and personal data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Supported Carriers. Compatible with all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. T-Mobile is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
User Content and Conduct
- You are responsible for all content you post or transmit through the Platform.
- By posting content, you grant KasPaws a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
- You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or that infringes any third-party rights.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KasPaws disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
- KasPaws will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will post the revised Terms on the Platform or notify you via email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
