From the Pet Alerts section, tap "Report Lost Pet" and add a photo, description, and last known location. Your alert will be sent to nearby KasPaws members immediately.

Already have a Pet Parent account? Open your Account page and tap "Become a Sitter" to add the sitter side without losing your pets, favorites, or bookings. Brand-new to KasPaws? Visit the Become a Sitter page to start your application — create a profile, set your services and pricing, configure availability, and submit for verification.

How much does it cost to be a sitter?

KasPaws charges 0% platform fee on your own existing clients. On new clients KasPaws sends you, it’s 8% per completed booking on the free plan, or 4% on the $20/month Pro plan.

What is the sitter verification process?

KasPaws offers ID verification for Pet Pros to build trust with pet parents. Verified Pet Pros have passed a free ID check reviewed by a real person (usually in 1–2 business days) and display a Verified badge on their profile. Only verified Pet Pros can accept paid bookings; unverified pros can list a complete profile but need to finish ID review before accepting payments.

Can I bring someone with me to a client’s home?

No. During house sitting, drop-in visits or any in-home service, only you — the verified Pet Pro listed on the booking — may be in the client’s home or with the pet. That means no partners, friends, family or other guests. If something unusual comes up, get the pet parent’s written permission through KasPaws Messages BEFORE the service begins. A text or email outside KasPaws doesn’t count.

How does KasPaws keep pets safe?

Sitters with the Verified Pet Pro badge have passed a free ID check reviewed by a real person. Pet sitters who have not yet finished ID review can list a complete profile on the marketplace but cannot accept paid bookings until they are verified. All communication happens through the platform, payments are encrypted, and our safety team is available for urgent issues.
