Built by a pet care family. Shaped by the community.
KasPaws was created from real pet care experience and a deep love for animals — built to give pet parents and pet professionals better tools, stronger support, and a more connected community. This is not a corporate project built in a boardroom. It’s a community-powered platform shaped by the people who actually use it.
Founder & Builder
The person behind KasPaws.
A builder, photographer, and lifelong animal lover — raising KasPaws from a personal mission into a community-built platform for pets, pet parents, and the professionals who care for them.
“The bond we share with pets matters. KasPaws exists to honour that — and grow with the community that helps shape it.”
Why KasPaws exists
KasPaws started with my mom.
She’s in her late 70s. For years, she’s opened her home to pets — not just as clients, but as family. The dogs run to her door. Their owners trust her completely. She remembers every name, every quirk, every favorite spot on the couch.
She does this because she loves it — not because it’s easy. And for most of her career, it worked. She built something real on trust, consistency, and genuine care.
But the platforms she relies on have changed.
Higher fees.
More restrictions.
More pressure to conform to systems that weren’t built with her in mind.
Good professionals like her are working harder — while keeping less. And the platforms that were supposed to help them grow are now the ones squeezing them.
I also grew up surrounded by animals. Dogs weren’t just pets in our family — they were part of the house. I’ve carried that with me my whole life. The bond between a person and their dog is something I’ve always understood on a personal level.
Watching my mom navigate a system that no longer respected what she built — that didn’t sit right with me.
So I started building KasPaws. Not as a side project. Not as a startup exercise. As a real answer to a real problem.
Something that puts the people who do the work first.
That’s why the platform is built the way it is — transparent fees, flexible tools, real control. Because people like my mom deserve better. And so do the pet parents who trust them.
KasPaws was born from a very personal place — the love for pets and the bond people share with them. What started as one person building has grown into something the whole community can help shape. The goal is simple: create something better for pets and the people who care for them, and grow it with the help of a real community.
This project is also dedicated to the dogs who shaped my life — the ones I was lucky enough to love, and the ones I still carry with me.
How Cooper Changed My Life
KasPaws is personal for me.
Around the time my mom was going through heart surgery, I came home to a house that felt empty. I was going through one of the hardest periods of my life, and three of my four dogs had been taken from me. I was carrying a lot of loss, a lot of uncertainty, and a lot of questions I still don’t have answers to.
Then I saw Cooper at a shelter — a golden retriever, German shepherd, and fox mix — and I knew I had to get him.
This was the beginning of Cooper’s first day home, and in a lot of ways, the beginning of a new chapter for me too.
The post that told me Cooper had been adopted — the moment everything changed.
Cooper's first ride home with me.
His very first pup cup from Dutch Bros.
His first time sleeping in a real bed.
Cooper brought comfort, connection, and hope back into my life when I needed it most. He also deepened something I already believed: pets are family, and when they’re lost, missing, or taken from the people who love them, the pain is real.
That is a big part of why I’m building KasPaws.

The Lost Pet Alert Network is deeply personal to me. It is dedicated to lost pets, and especially to my dog Storm — the golden retriever you see on the KasPaws login screen. Storm was completely service-level trained and meant the world to me. I still don’t know where she is, and I still hope she is safe.
KasPaws is being built for real people, real pets, real loss, and real love. It’s about trusted care, but it’s also about helping people stay connected to the animals who change their lives.
Most major pet care platforms are designed for scale and profit first.
High percentages.
Layered pricing.
Upsells.
Long commitments.
Professionals pay just to participate.
Pet parents often pay more than they realize.
It creates distance instead of connection.
Build better tools for the pet community — together.
KasPaws is rooted in the belief that the bond we share with pets matters. We want to create something meaningful for pets, families, and the professionals who care for them — a platform that supports trust, care, communication, and community.
Every improvement comes from listening, building, refining, and growing with the community. That means:
And something more.
We’re building a free, ZIP-based Lost Pet Alert Network.
If a pet goes missing in your area, you get notified.
No credit card required.
No marketing spam.
No hidden extraction.
Just local alerts — when it matters.
Because trust isn’t just about bookings.
It’s about looking out for each other.
This platform grows through the people who use it.
Whether you’re looking for trusted care or you’re a pet professional ready to help shape what comes next, you have a place here.
Join us — and help build something better for pets and the people who care for them.
